Nursing

Are you ready to take the first step toward a rewarding career as a Registered Nurse? If so, the Nursing program at AmeriTech College could be just what you’re looking for.

AmeriTech’s program can prepare you to apply for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for Registered Nursing. Your hands-on learning can begin in the classroom with the Meti Human Patient Simulator, a simulator that imitates a patient’s response to various treatments, providing immediate feedback and true-to-life scenarios. You can then gain valuable, real-world experience during your clinical training with local hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

The AmeriTech Nursing Program is also approved by the Utah State Board of Nursing for operation within the State of Utah.  As of December 10, 2008 the Nursing Program has been assigned probationary approval from the Utah State Board of Nursing.  Probationary approval allows graduates to sit for the NCLEX exam and obtain licensure as a Nurse in the State of Utah.  As a condition for probationary approval by the Utah State Board of Nursing, AmeriTech College must obtain programmatic accreditation from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) by March 2011 (in addition to its current institutional accreditation through ABHES).
